Meeting Organization

Date: 13th-14th January 2011

Host: University of Málaga

This Kick off meeting marks the official beginning of the SISOB Project after more than one year of work and preparation. During this meeting, all of us will summarise the aims of the Project, and organize our common work in order to begin to produce research results as soon as possible, following the workplan of the project.

During these two days, we will make a general overview of the project and its organization. It will also be an opportunity for all the project stakeholders to meet one another and to clearly define their roles in the project.  At the end of the meeting, all partners will have a clear idea of the work to be done, both in the short and long terms.

VENUE

The conference will be held in the Edificio del Rectorado of the University of Málaga. Located in the historic city center of Málaga, this Neo-Mudéjar building hosts an archeological site, and is very near the Alcazaba, the Picasso Museum and the Cathedral. Room “Sala de Rectores”

Near the meeting venue there are some good hotels. The hotel “Malaga Palacio” is at 350 metres walking. It is located between the Cathedral and the Paseo del Parque, combined with its spectacular views of the marina, make it the most representative hotel in Malaga.

AGREEMENTS

  • The steering comittee of the project will have a conference meeting by skype all the last monday of the month at 14:00 (10:00 for RICYT in Argentina), with a duration about 30' - 45'. The aim of these meetings will be to know the state of the work and coordination issues.
  • All partners will submit their presentations in order to upload them to the private section of the web page.
  • The University of Málaga will send the original signed document of the Consortium Agreement to all partners.
  • The next general meeting on Budapest 30th-31th May.

  • Richard prepare task T2.1 and distribute workplan
  • Aldo prepare 7.1: concepts about mobility and list of needs
  • Rodolfo prepare task T8.1. and distribute work plan
